1. Who we are
Moi ("the App") is a personal habit‑tracking app operated by Open Rhapsody ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App handles and your choices. It applies to all users worldwide.
2. What data we process
We designed Moi to keep your data on your device whenever possible.
Stored on your device (locally):
- The goals/habits you create (title, dates, metrics)
- The messages, notes, and numbers you record
- Photos you attach to a record
- A nickname you optionally give to the assistant
Processed by our servers / third parties (only when you use these features):
- AI replies: When the assistant responds, the text of your goal and recent conversation (and your nickname, if set) is sent to our processing function and to our AI provider to generate a reply.
- Photo analysis: When you attach a photo to a record, the image is sent to our AI provider so it can read relevant details (for example, recognizing the activity or extracting a number) and respond and track your metrics.
- Voice input: If you record by voice, the audio is sent to our AI provider to be transcribed into text.
- Anonymous identifier: To keep your data separate, the App creates an anonymous session. We do not require an account, email, password, name, or phone number.
These cloud features process your entries to deliver the requested result; we do not store them as a personal profile on our servers (see Section 5).
Usage analytics and feedback (anonymous):
- To understand how the App is used and to improve it, the App records anonymous usage events (for example, which screens you open and which actions you take), along with your app version, platform, and a random anonymous identifier generated on your device. These events contain only metadata — never your photos or the text of your conversations. A goal's title may be included to give an event context.
- If you send feedback from within the App, we store the message you write, an optional satisfaction rating, your app version, the anonymous identifier, and (where relevant) a goal title.
We do not collect advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising, and we do not use any advertising SDKs.
